I am a beginner, where do I start?
Everyone is different and we have multiple different classes you can begin with! Our Beginners Class is a Vinyasa Yoga intro. Vinyasa style yoga consists of all kinds of different poses as you move through warm up, flow, standing poses, wind down. In Beginners Class, we take it slow to make sure the class understands all the basics, but it is still a decent amount of movement. Some beginner-level guests may want to start off with an even slower practice to focus on a more comfortable approach to gaining mobility/flexibility - in which case, we suggest either Relax and Restore or Chair Yoga classes.
What do I need to bring with me to class?
Most people bring their own yoga mat and a water bottle. Don’t have a yoga mat? Please don’t make a special trip to the store for one! We have extra mats that are free to borrow. Our studio is also equipped with yoga blocks, bolsters, blankets, straps, and more! All we ask is that you help us keep the equipment ready for the next guest who may need it by giving it a wipe at our cleaning station after class.
Do I have to sign up online for classes/events, or do I just show up?
We ask that you sign up for all classes and events on our website. This provides you and other guests the smoothest possible experience at the studio. Utilizing our online sign up process also gives you the opportunity to take advantage of class passes and memberships, which reduce your price per class significantly!
However, we are capable of taking a transaction at the studio, so if you ever need to pay upon arrival, we ask that you shoot us a text or e-mail so that we can be prepared and ready to serve you best!
Are there age limits for Mommy & Me?
We welcome kids of all ages for Mommy & Me! This session is great for babies enjoying tummy time to older kids who want to learn alongside mom. There is never any predicting what the toddlers will do, and that’s alright with us! Mommy & Me is a judgement-free zone, and that’s the most important thing to keep in mind.
I am not seeing any availability for a practitioner I would like to schedule with. How do I proceed?
Some of our practitioners operate on a request-only basis. In this case, you can still sign up online, but first we will work with you and the practitioner to find a time that works for you both, and then we will open that time slot on their calendar just for your reservation. Just give us a call or send us an e-mail/text to get started!
Also, please keep in mind that we only open staff schedules one month at a time. If it looks like someone you love to book with has nothing available for the rest of the year, they may have just needed time off this month, and are not available for booking yet for next month. We are constantly looking to add more mindful and caring healers to keep guests accommodated when existing staff needs time off.
If I purchase a Class Pass, do I have to choose all my classes right away?
Nope! Your class pass is valid for one year after purchase. You can choose your classes as you go, “paying” with your class pass instead of your card at checkout as needed.
